A missed cleaner message can become the most expensive mistake in a stay.

A booking isn't operationally safe until the cleaner has confirmed. Most small hosts still rely on memory and a long WhatsApp thread. That works until one booking lands late, the host forgets, or a same-day changeover gets missed.

Does the cleaner need an app?

No. They get a normal WhatsApp message and reply on WhatsApp. There's nothing for them to download or sign in to.

What if the cleaner doesn't reply?

Daybook flags the booking as unconfirmed. As the changeover gets closer, the urgency on the daily view increases — first a soft "not confirmed yet," then a clear "chase now" the morning of the turnover.

Can I still message the cleaner manually?

Yes — TurnoverText doesn't replace your normal WhatsApp thread. It just makes sure no booking goes unmessaged. You can chat about anything else as usual.

Can I turn the automation off for a property?

Yes. You can switch off automated messages per-property from settings. Bookings still appear in Daybook, but no WhatsApp goes out.

What if I have multiple properties with different cleaners?

Each property has its own cleaner setting. If Sue cleans two cottages and Hayley cleans the others, each gets messages only for the properties they cover. You set this up once during onboarding (or anytime in settings).

Does WhatsApp cost extra?

No additional charge to you — TurnoverText covers the WhatsApp delivery. Your cleaner's WhatsApp is whatever they already use.

What does the host see inside Daybook?

Cleaner confirmation status appears on the daily view alongside today's check-ins and check-outs. Confirmed turnovers stay quiet. Unconfirmed ones surface with a one-tap "Message cleaner" button.

Which platforms work?

Anything that gives you an iCal feed — Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, plus any direct/manual calendars. The check-out and check-in dates come from the feed; the booking name and price come from the platform email when one arrives.
